Steven Spielberg’s Jaws first hit the big screen in the summer of 1975. On August 14th, 2012 it will make it’s debut on Blu-ray as a part of Universal’s 100th Anniversary Celebration.

This release has been digitally remastered and fully restored from the original 35mm film elements.

The Blu-ray set will also include a DVD and an Ultraviolet digital copy along with over 4 hours of bonus footage.

I am especially looking forward to the new feature length documentary “The Shark is Still Working: The Impact and Legacy of Jaws.”

The set will include more all new features as well as older behind the scenes and making-of footage.

Can’t wait to check it all out!
