Opening October 31, 2014, Horns stars Daniel Radcliffe as Ignatius Perrish and Juno Temple as his girlfriend Merrin Williams. Based on the novel of the same name by beststelling author Joe Hill, Horns explores grief and vengeance with a twist of the supernatural and horror.
Ignatius Martin Perrish spent the night drunk and doing terrible things. He woke the next morning with a headache, put his hands to him temples, and felt something unfamiliar, a pair of knobby pointed protuberances. He was so ill–wet-eyed and weak–he didn’t think anything of it at first, was too hung-over for thinking or worry. But when he was swaying above the toilet, he glanced at himself in the mirror over the sink and saw he had grown horns while he slept. He lurched in surprise, and for the second time in twelve hours he pissed on his feet. — excerpt from the beginning of Horns by Joe Hill.
The movie tie-in edition of the novel is now available from Harper Collins.
Be sure to check back with us for more on Horns. I haven’t read this one yet, but I’m a big fan of Hill’s latest book NOS4A2 and I’ll be reading Horns in anticipation of the film.
If you want to see Horns now you can! The film is now available VOD from places like XFinity On Demand, Amazon, iTunes, etc. The film will still be in theaters at the end of the month.
